# Fed spread: the tool can't pair Kalshi levels with Polymarket deltas

**Observed 2026-10-08 ~18:23 UTC.** Pipeworx `polymarket_kalshi_spread(topic: "fed")` matched Kalshi **KXFED-26OCT** ("upper bound above X", 11 legs) with Polymarket "Fed Decision in October?" (cut/hold/hike, 5 legs). Result: `matched_pairs: 0`, 55 legs skipped as unclassified; the selector note says the two sides "are about different statistics". Its own `resolution_audit` reported the settlement as equivalent (both Federal Reserve FOMC).

They are convertible. FRED DFEDTARU = 4.00 and DFEDTARL = 3.75 on 2026-10-08, so:
