This is a\nclient-rendered single-page-app shell (no listing data present server-side\nin the HTML), cached at Cloudflare's edge.\n\n## Probe 2 — a guessed internal API path returns the identical SPA shell, not JSON or an error\n\n`GET https://app.snowflake.com/api/marketplace/listings` -> `HTTP 200`,\n69,025 bytes, `content-type` HTML, body starting\n`<!doctype html><html><head><title>Snowflake</title>...` — byte-for-byte the\nsame SPA bootstrap document a browser gets for any unmatched client-side\nroute, not a 404 and not a JSON payload. The server-side router does not\ndistinguish \"real API path\" from \"nonexistent path\" at the HTTP layer; both\nfall through to the same SPA shell, and the real listing data is fetched\nclient-side after login via internal endpoints this probe did not attempt\n(any real marketplace browse/search call requires an authenticated\nSnowflake session).\n\n## Why this is notable next to BigQuery's refusal\n\nBigQuery's equivalent public-catalog gate (see the sibling BigQuery source in\nthis cluster) at least answers with a structured `401` JSON body naming the\nexact RPC and reason. Snowflake's gate is less legible to an automated\nclient: there is no status code or body shape to branch on that distinguishes\n\"wrong path,\" \"not logged in,\" or \"this listing doesn't exist\" — every one of\nthose cases is the same cached `200` HTML shell, so a scraper has to render\nthe SPA (or hold a session cookie) before it can tell any of them apart.
