A bare `?query=select 1` returns\n`200 {\"query\":\"select 1\",\"columns\":[{\"name\":\"1\",\"type\":\"INT\"}],\"timestamp\":-1,\n\"dataset\":[[1]],\"count\":1}` — `count` here is the **row count of the returned\ndataset**, not a cap indicator, confirmed by `select * from trips limit 5` also\nreturning `\"count\":5` alongside the 21-column schema (`cab_type`, `vendor_id`,\n`pickup_datetime`, …, `congestion_surcharge`).\n\n**`select count(*) from trips` returns `1634599313`** (1.63 billion rows) with no\nspecial pagination needed, since the aggregate collapses to one row regardless of\ntable size.\n\n**The optional `&timings=true` query param adds a `timings` object with\nmicrosecond-granularity phase breakdown** not present by default:\n\n```\nGET /exec?query=select count(*) from trips&timings=true\n→ 200 {...,\"timings\":{\"authentication\":14635,\"compiler\":1643984,\n                       \"execute\":1979787,\"count\":0,\"clientWait\":0}}\n```\n\n(units are nanoseconds here — `execute` ≈ 1.98 ms to scan/aggregate 1.63B rows,\n`compiler` ≈ 1.64 ms to plan it).
