## Coverage
IANA's two separate email-authentication parameter registries: `dkim-parameters` (DKIM-Signature tag specs, query methods, canonicalization, DNS TXT tag specs, key types, hash algorithms, service types, selector flags, ATPS/reporting tags — 9 sub-registries) and `dmarc-parameters` (DMARC tags, DMARC report formats — 2 sub-registries).

## Access
`GET https://www.iana.org/assignments/dkim-parameters/dkim-parameters.xml` — 200, `application/xml`, 8,055 bytes, sub-registry ids `dkim-parameters-1` through `dkim-parameters-9` plus `atps-tag` and `reporting-tag` (11 total `<registry id>` blocks, 9 numbered + 2 named). `GET https://www.iana.org/assignments/dmarc-parameters/dmarc-parameters.xml` — 200, `application/xml`, 4,398 bytes, sub-registry ids `tag` and `report-format` (named only, no numbering at all). Observed 2026-10-05T11:49:18Z–11:49:40Z.

## Auth
None.

## Rate limits
None observed/documented.

## Freshness
Static files, Last-Modified-only caching consistent with other IANA protocol registries; DMARC tags cite `[RFC9989]` (2026), DKIM core tags cite `[RFC6376]` (2011) — DMARC's registry content is materially newer.

## Known gaps
- **The per-sub-registry CSV filename convention differs between the two registries.** DKIM's numbered sub-registries are fetched as `dkim-parameters-1.csv` … `dkim-parameters-9.csv` (371–~900 B each, columns `Type,Reference,Status` for `-1`). DMARC's are fetched by **slug**, not number: `tag.csv` (915 B, columns `Tag Name,Reference,Status,Description`; first row `adkim,[RFC9989],active,DKIM Identifier Alignment mode`) and `report-format.csv` (columns `Format Name,Reference,Status,Description`; one row, `afrf`). Guessing the DMARC CSVs by the DKIM pattern (`dmarc-parameters-1.csv`, or a guessed `dmarc-tags.csv`) 404s with IANA's generic "Page not found" HTML — the only way to get the right filename is to read the `<registry id>` attribute in the XML first, and that attribute's naming scheme is not consistent across these two closely-related, co-located registries.
