At exactly\n  **`n_per_page=1000`**: **301** redirect, `Location: /static/\n  extensions.json` — following it (`-L`) lands on a **200** JSON document\n  with **1,000** raw `extensions`-array entries but **no `total` and no\n  `numpages` keys at all** (both `None`/absent) — a client that assumes\n  the paginated envelope's shape and blindly reads `total` after\n  requesting a large page size silently gets `None` instead of an error.\n  The threshold is a hard boundary at 1000, not a soft clamp like several\n  other catalog APIs in this cluster.\n- `shell_version=45.0` filter: narrows the 3-result \"vim\" query down to 2\n  — confirms the parameter does real server-side compatibility filtering,\n  not just cosmetic sorting.\n- `shell_version=999.0` (a version that does not exist): **200**, `total:\n  3` — identical to the unfiltered query. An unrecognized/future shell\n  version is **not** treated as \"matches nothing\"; it falls back to the\n  unfiltered result set rather than erroring or returning zero, which an\n  agent checking shell-version compatibility needs to know (a bogus\n  version silently disables the filter instead of signaling the mistake).\n- `extension-info/?pk=19` (a real, long-lived extension id): **200**,\n  JSON with `uuid`, `name`, `creator`, `pk`, `description`,\n  `shell_version_map` (a map of every GNOME Shell version to that\n  version's specific extension-package pk/version pair).\n- `extension-info/?pk=999999999` (a nonexistent pk): **404**, but\n  `content-type: text/html` — a full rendered GNOME Shell Extensions site\n  page (Django/SweetTooth templates, nav bar, footer, login form), not a\n  JSON error — in contrast to `extension-query/`, which always answers\n  JSON even for a zero-result search.
