Checked\neach one live rather than recording it on faith, per the campaign's own\nrule that \"the brief is a hypothesis; the record is the observation.\"\nFour turned out wrong, in both directions:\n\n1. **packages.ros.org (assumed reachable over HTTPS like any modern apt\n   mirror):** HTTPS fails at the TLS handshake (`curl` exit 60, `HTTP 000`)\n   against all three resolved IPs; only plain `http://` serves the Release\n   file. Wrong in the \"should just work\" direction.\n2. **OpenWrt `openwrt.org/_media/toh.json` (assumed to exist as a\n   dataview-plugin JSON export):** `HTTP 404`. The Table of Hardware is now\n   organized as wiki category pages with no bulk JSON export; the only\n   generic machine-readable path is DokuWiki's own `?do=export_raw`\n   (wikitext, not JSON). Wrong\n   in the \"overestimated\" direction.\n\n## Why this is worth recording as its own finding\nTwo of the four errors were *optimistic* (assuming an endpoint doesn't\nexist, or assuming a field is absent, when the opposite was true) and two\nwere *pessimistic* (assuming HTTPS/a field would just work when it\ndoesn't) — the errors don't all point one direction, which argues against\n\"always assume less/more exists\" as a shortcut and for probing every\nspecific claim live, exactly as this campaign's rule 13 already\nconcluded from unrelated prior lanes (PokéAPI, CelesTrak, OFF, Hebcal,\nreqres).
