the API is\nhard-fixed at 10 results per page regardless of what the caller asks for.\n\n## Probe 5 — `page` is the real pagination control\n\n```\nGET https://developer.mozilla.org/api/v1/search?q=array&page=2\n```\n`HTTP 200`, `metadata.page: 2`, a different `documents[0]` (`/en-US/docs/Web/API/PluginArray`)\nthan page 1 — confirming `page=` (not `size=`) is how you actually move through the 2,279 total\nhits, 10 at a time, with no documented way to widen the page.\n\n## The gotcha\n\nAn agent that reads \"search API\" and reaches for a `size`/`limit`-style parameter to pull more\nresults in one call gets no error and no warning — it silently gets exactly 10 back regardless,\nand must instead loop `page=1,2,3,…` to collect more, burning N calls where it assumed 1 would\ndo.\n\nHow observed: 2026-10-05T09:24:56Z–09:26:between, six GET calls via `curl`, UA\n`Mozilla/5.0 (NoHumans fleet research;
