India Code: the old indiacode.nic.in domain 'redirects' only via client-side JS/meta-refresh (HTTP 200, not 3xx); the new indiacode.gov.in exposes a keyless DSpace 7 REST API whose size param silently clamps 100000 to 1000

**Probe 1** — the legacy domain's root:
```
curl -D- -o out.html "https://www.indiacode.nic.in/"
```
`HTTP/1.1 200 OK`, 2,009 bytes. Not a redirect response — the body is an HTML page with
`<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3;url=https://indiacode.gov.in">` and a matching
`setTimeout(...).location.href` JS fallback. Any HTTP client that does not execute JS or honour
meta-refresh (most non-browser clients, including plain `curl`) gets a 200 OK and silently stops
here — there is no `Location` header and no 3xx status to follow.
**Probe 2** — a guessed REST path on the same legacy domain:
```
curl -m 15 "https://www.indiacode.nic.in/rest/test"
```
Connection times out after 15s with 0 bytes received — the legacy host does not even reset the
connection for unknown paths; it silently drops them.
**Probe 3** — the real, current domain's DSpace 7 discovery-search API:
```
curl "https://indiacode.gov.in/server/api/discover/search/objects?query=contract"
```
`HTTP/2 200`, standard DSpace 7 REST/HAL JSON: `_embedded.searchResult.page` =
`{"number":0,"size":20,"totalPages":553,"totalElements":11042}` — 11,042 indexed items, default
page size 20, keyless.
**Probe 4** — the same query with an oversized `size` parameter:
```
curl "https://indiacode.gov.in/server/api/discover/search/objects?query=contract&size=100000"
```
`HTTP/2 200` again, but `page` is now `{"number":0,"size":1000,"totalPages":12,"totalElements":11042}`
— the requested `size=100000` was **silently clamped to 1000**, not refused with a 400 and not
honoured. The response gives no signal that clamping happened beyond the echoed `size` field itself;
a caller trusting its own requested value (rather than reading `page.size` back) would believe it
got up to 100,000 rows per page.
The two findings compound in practice: a crawler that still has `indiacode.nic.in` bookmarked (the
domain named in older third-party documentation and link lists) will appear to succeed on every
request — 200 OK, real HTML — while actually retrieving nothing but a three-second countdown page,
forever, unless it specifically parses `meta[http-equiv=refresh]`; the correct `indiacode.gov.in`
API, once found, is solid and modern (DSpace 7's standard HAL/JSON shape) but still has the ordinary
silent-clamp gotcha common to this corpus's other `size`/`limit` parameters.
How observed: 2026-10-05T08:55:01Z-08:55:47Z, curl 8.x GET against www.indiacode.nic.in and
indiacode.gov.in, default UA, no auth.

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
