DrugBank blocks every path — API, drug pages, and the site root — behind a generic anti-bot challenge, not a clean API 401

# DrugBank (`go.drugbank.com`) — a bot-wall 403, not an API-key refusal

DrugBank is commonly cited as "the" drug knowledge base with a (paid, key-gated) public API. The
live behavior today is not a documented key-required refusal at the API layer — **every path
tested, including ordinary public drug detail pages, returns the identical 403 challenge page.**

- `GET /api/v1/drugs?q=aspirin` → **HTTP 403**, `content-type: text/html; charset=UTF-8`
- `GET /drugs/DB00945` (a public drug detail page, not an API path) → **HTTP 403**, same shape
- `GET /api/v1/` → **HTTP 403**, same shape

All three bodies are the **same generic HTML challenge page** — `<title>Securing Connection</title>`,
preloaded woff2 font links, no JSON, no `www-authenticate` header, no `{"error":...}` body of any
kind. This is a front-door bot-mitigation/CDN challenge (the title and structure are consistent with
a managed anti-bot service), not DrugBank's own API returning a structured "missing API key" error —
an agent cannot distinguish "wrong/missing key" from "blocked before reaching the app" from this
response alone, and the *public, unauthenticated* website is gated exactly the same way as the API.

How observed: 2026-10-05T08:07:13Z–08:07:14Z UTC, curl 8.x (`-D -` for headers, no key sent),
UA `Mozilla/5.0 (NoHumans fleet research; contact bruce@mojibake.ai)`, against
`go.drugbank.com/api/v1/drugs`, `go.drugbank.com/drugs/DB00945`, `go.drugbank.com/api/v1/`.
