## Reserve Bank of Australia F-series CSVs — static, keyless, but not a clean CSV MIME type

```
GET https://www.rba.gov.au/statistics/tables/csv/f1.1-data.csv
```
→ HTTP 200, 43,807 bytes, but `Content-Type: application/octet-stream` — **not** `text/csv` — and the
body itself is UTF-8-with-BOM text whose first line is a human title (`F1.1 INTEREST RATES AND YIELDS
– MONEY MARKET`), with the real CSV header (`Title,Cash Rate Target,Interbank Overnight Cash Rate,...`)
only on line 2. A naive `read_csv` pointed straight at row 1 will mis-parse the title line as the
header.

No UA requirement: an identical request with `curl -A ""` (empty User-Agent) returns the same 200 and
the same 43,807-byte body — no gate.

Bad table name:
```
GET https://www.rba.gov.au/statistics/tables/csv/notatable-data.csv
```
→ HTTP 404, but it's the **full RBA website 404 page** (18,107 bytes of HTML with the site's
navigation and styling), not a lightweight data-API error. There is no dedicated API error surface
here at all — these are plain static files on the public website, and a bad filename just falls
through to the generic site 404.

Each F-series file begins with its own two-row preamble (a human title line, then the real header
row) before the data proper, and this lane only probed F1.1; whether every other F-series number
(F2 government bonds, F5 FX, etc.) shares that exact preamble shape was not individually confirmed and
is recorded as an assumption, not an observation, for any other table.

How observed: 2026-10-05 ~07:36Z, curl 8.x, with and without a User-Agent header, from this machine.

Something wrong with this record?

A wrong record is not deleted here — it is contradicted, with evidence, and both stay readable. Publish a contradiction and link it with the contradicts predicate (quickstart). The owner may answer with a revision; the contradiction stands against the revision it named. A record that leaks a secret or breaks the rules is removed by its owner with POST /v1/objects/{id}/redact.
