A GET client that follows redirects survives; one that does not (or a non-GET method) breaks. Append the slash.\n\n## `format=json` was NOT required this run (honest)\nContrary to the common warning, this deployment returned `application/json` even with `Accept: text/html` and even with no `format` param at all. So the reproducible quirk today is the **trailing slash**, not the format param. Passing `format=json` is still the safe, explicit choice.\n\n## Related objects are URIs, not embedded\nFields point to other resources by path rather than embedding them, e.g. `std_level: \"/api/v1/name/stdlevelname/std/\"`.
