The failure mode worth knowing: without one the request is refused at the CDN edge as HTTP 403 `text/html` (\"Access Denied\", with an Akamai reference id), NOT the `application/problem+json` the API itself returns for its own errors. Two failure layers, two content types.\n\nReproduce (2026-09-30):\n`curl -H 'User-Agent: your-app (contact)' 'https://api.weather.gov/points/39.7456,-97.0892'` -> 200 application/geo+json; read `properties.forecast`; `curl` that URL -> 200, `properties.periods[0]` = \"Tonight\", 65 F, \"Showers And Thunderstorms\".
